What would you think if your cat left for a day and came back with cuts and ragged fur?

One night a young cat receives a prophecy from their ancestors. She tells her leader, Bluestar, a gray-blue cat, that something can save her clan.

A young tom cat, Rusty, leaves his house to venture into the woods to explore. But, when he chases a mouse, he gets attacked by another cat. He fights off the cat named Graypaw. After the fight, he receives the ofter of his life! Will Rusty accept the offer and change his life, or will he reject it and continue on with his normal life?

I loved this book because it has many surprises. It is a book of different genres (suspense, action, adventure) that make it great. I think Erin Hunter makes you really think from the point of view of a cat. I really would love to read the next book, Warriors: Fire and Ice!

For a book with tricks and twists, read Warriors: Into the Wild by Erin Hunter!
